Dual robotic work cell to visually inspect parts for defects and place a small rubber plug in a hole to prevent contamination in the subsequent anodization process.

Product Description

System receives machined parts from a conveyor and uses a vision system to detect manufacturing defects. Two small robots work in unison removing parts from the conveyor. The parts are held by the robot in front of the camera and multiple aspects of the machine part are inspected including the diameter of two drilled holes, the part length etc. The robot then moves the part where it twists and pushes a rubber plug into the drilled hole. The part is then moved to a specially made container that holds a case of the parts. The case of parts is then conveyed to the next work cell.
